Sew Delightful is the upcoming major free update for Disney Dreamlight Valley releasing on December 4, 2024. It is the final major free update of this year and it is a long-awaited one. This update will finally let players bring Sally to the Valley and reunite her with Jack Skellington.
Moreover, this update will also include a new Star Path, this time with a winter theme called Frost & Fairies Star Path. The Star Path will include several rewards in its tiers and those who claim all free and premium rewards, can get even more rewards from the Bonus Rewards tab.
Gift of Giving and Christmas Day Events Return in Sew Delightful Update
In addition to the new content, the Sew Delightful update will also bring back the Holiday events from the previous year. Gift of Giving is the first event that will go live allowing players to collect Festive Wrapping Paper and give gifts to villagers. Moreover, there will be various festive fish in this event that players can catch at certain locations.
Festive Anglerfish – You can fish it in the Forgotten Lands from 6 PM – 5 AM
Festive Bass – You can fish it in the Peaceful Meadow any time.
Festive Fugu – You can fish on Dazzle Beach while raining.
Festive Salmon – You can fish in the Sunlit Plateau any time.
Festive Squid – You can fish in the Glade of Trust any time.
In late December, a Christmas Day event will be held, and a Seasonal Tree will appear inside the Dream Castle. Players can get a random gift once per day from beneath the seasonal tree. The gift can include resources, furniture, and clothing items.
Last but not least, there will be a few Festive Duties that players can complete to earn festive clothing items.
