How to Get Salt Crystal in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Salt Crystal is one of the new spice-type ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players can get Salt Crystal material by fishing in the open water around the Everafter biome.
There are four areas in the Everafter biome, The Wild Woods, Teapot Falls, The Fallen Fortress, and The Beanstalk Marshes. You will get to unlock the Wild Woods first at the cost of 2,000 Story Magic. Once you have access to the Everafter biome, go to any fishing area and start fishing in the open water (no ripples).
Complete the fishing mini-game of reeling in the catch to have a chance of catching the Salt Crystal. However, there are some common fish in the waters of Bind so it might take you a few tries before you catch the Salt Crystal. Moreover, make sure that your Royal Fishing Rod tool does not have any elixir/potion on it. Otherwise, you will catch fish often instead of Salt Crystal in the open water.
Upon reeling the Salt Crystal out of the water, you will find it in your inventory.
Uses of Salt Crystal
Salt Crystal is a spice-type ingredient exclusive to the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will need it for cooking various meals. Moreover, players can also sell it for 20 Star Coins at Goofy’s Stall or consume it to regenerate 25 Energy.
