A Land of Myths and Legends Quest Walkthrough – Disney Dreamlight Valley

A Land of Myths and Legends is a main story quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Storybook Vale expansion. It is exclusive to the owners of the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will be able to pursue this quest once they get access to The Elysian Fields area of the Mythopia biome. This guide will walk you through A Land of Myths and Legends quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete A Land of Myths and Legends Quest – Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

To initiate A Land of Myths and Legends quest, you will have to unlock The Elysian Fields area of the Mythopia biome. The Elysian Fields area is located on the east side of the Bind biome and it requires 2,000 Story Magic to unlock. Go to the entrance of The Elysian Fields and interact with the Wall of Ink to spend 2,000 Story Magic and unlock the area. Once done, A Land of Myths and Legends quest will trigger automatically.

Explore the Elysian Fields

Upon initiating the quest, go to the east side of the Elysian Fields area to come across a gazebo. You will have to clear some Inkies along the path to reach the gazebo. The gazebo is some kind of a magical gateway but it will be blocked by Inkies.

Speak to Lorekeeper

Now, go to the Library in the Bind biome to speak with the Lorekeeper book. Ask her about the magical gateway in the Elysian Fields area of the Mythopia biome. After that, speak to Merida to join you at the Mythic Trial in the Elysian Fields. Once done, follow Merida back to the gazebo location in the Elysian Fields area.

Catch the Will-o’-the-Wisps

As you reach the Elysian Fields, you will see a couple of Blue Flames racing around. Catch both of the Blue Flames by running after them and interacting with them.

NOTE: You do not have to use the Royal Nest to catch the Blue Flames, simply press the interaction key when you get close to them to catch them.

Find a Way to Power up the Wheel

After catching the blue flames, go to the gazebo location and speak to Merida. The wheel on the handle will not budge, requiring you to power it first. To power the wheel, interact with the braziers on the side of the wheel and put the blue flames in them.

Once done, equip the Royal Nest and swing it vertically to rotate the wheel. It will open a portal in the gazebo which will conclude the A Land of Myths and Legends quest.
