Finishing a Bestiary page in this game is certainly the main goal, but now there’s an incentive to complete the Fisch Vertigo Bestiary with the introduction of The Depths.

Fisch Vertigo Bestiary

Many players are now grinding their Vertigo Bestiary so they can unlock access to The Depths. However, you do need a Depths Key to open the door hidden in Vertigo, but you can obtain this item even without a 100% Vertigo Bestiary… you just can’t use it yet.

Entering Vertigo itself relies on a Strange Whirlpool spawning, so once you’re down there, try to catch as many new fish as possible and wait around for different seasons and weather types.

Depths Key

The rarest catch in Vertigo.

Prefers the daytimeIt has no preferences on the season, weather, or time of dayBait: Magnet

Mythic

Good luck trying to get this one.

Isonade

This one is the trickiest one to get (bar the Depths Key) as it only spawns within the Strange Whirlpool. Instead of heading into it to enter Vertigo, you simply park your boat outside of it, and fish directly into the whirlpool! It’s limited to 1, as once it has been caught, the Strange Whirlpool closes.

Legendary

There’s only 1 Legendary catch so far!

Rubber Ducky

Arguably one of the cutest Legendary catches in the game, the Rubber Ducky is a fairly easy one to catch.

Prefers the weather to be clear or rainyIt has no preferences on the time of day, season, or the bait type you’re using

Now, let’s move on to the Rare, Unusual, Uncommon, and Common catches.

Rare

They’re not that rare really.

It’s particular about a few things, but it’s not too hard to catch.

Abyssacuda

This one doesn’t care about much!

Fangborn Gar

Slightly more common than Rare fish!

Like Common fish, but slightly less.

Twilight Eel

Prefers the Winter seasonIt has no preferences regarding the time of day or weatherBait: Insect

Common

The fish that appear the most.

Night Shrimp

Considering this fish is of the Common rarity, it has a lot of preferences!

Spider Fish

Like the Night Shrimp, but not.
