Fisch Tempest Totem

The main use of a Tempest Totem is to influence the weather, particularly a downpour of rain.

Why Use the Tempest Totem?

Some fish have a higher chance of appearing when the weather is rainy. While the game can naturally flow through weather types, from windy to clear, rainy to foggy, sometimes you want to speed up the process.

Let’s say the last fish you need in a specific Bestiary prefers the rain. Instead of wasting bait or standing around for ages, simply using a Tempest Totem activates a heavy downpour.

This means you have a better chance of getting the fish you need right there and then (if RNG is on your side)! However, I do suggest taking note of its other preferences too. The more of these you meet, the better!

How to Get the Tempest Totem

To obtain the Tempest Totem, you need a spare 2K Coins. But, its location isn’t quite clear from the get-go. Firstly, you must head to Terrapin Island.

There’s a secret cave in the ocean waters surrounding Terrapin Island. Find the ledge that has a ladder attached to it, and head to the left. Traversing across the water, you can see a gap in the wall where you can enter.

You don’t need diving gear to go underwater, but if you want to increase your chances of not drowning, you can equip the basic set or advanced set if you wish to do so.

Follow the underwater path of the cave until you spot some lights. These lights show you that you’re going the correct way! As you swim through the water, keep checking above to see if there’s an exit out of the water. Eventually, you’ll find this exit, which you can hop out of to enter a small cave.

The Tempest Totem is located in this cave, as well as a skeleton nearby to it. Walk over to the totem, and purchase it for 2K Coins! To use a totem, you can hold it in your hands and click on the screen.
