The Storybook Vale is an upcoming expansion pass of Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is the second expansion of the game and was initially revealed during the Showcase Stream on October 29. The Showcase revealed the new Island with all three main biomes, new characters, and new features that players will be experiencing when the expansion releases tomorrow.
Storybook Vale Expansion Release Time – Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Storybook Vale Expansion (Part 1) will be released on November 20, 2024, for all the platforms at 8 PM (CT). The update for all the platforms will roll out at the release time corresponding to your region. Here are a few release times for the Storybook Vale DLC.
PT: 6 AM – November 20
CT: 8 PM – November 20
EST: 9 AM – November 20
BST: 2 PM – November 20
However, your platform will only get the expansion update if you have purchased the new DLC. There are a couple of bundles available for the Storybook Vale expansion. The Storybook Vale expansion alone is priced at $29.99 which will get you additional 5,000 Moonstones. Moreover, you can also purchase the new Magical Edition for $49.99 to get the Storybook Vale expansion along with the following in-game items.

The Storybook Vale expansion has two parts in total and the second part will come out in Summer 2025. In case you are wondering, you do not have to purchase the second part of Storybook Vale separately. It is included in the one-time purchase of the expansion.
What Storybook Vale Expansion Offers in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Storybook Vale expansion features a new story with 5 new characters in total (3 in Part 1 and 2 in Part 2). Players will travel to a new floating island where they will restore the magic by reshaping the stories for the Lorekeeper Book. Moreover, the expansion offers various new features and a new Royal Tool, Net which players will use to catch Snippets.
