The PlayStation 30th anniversary PS5 DualSense controller officially releases in a few days, but players have begun receiving the limited edition item. One YouTuber has already published the first-ever unboxing video showing off the controller, and we’ve got to admit that it’s aesthetically pleasing.
PlayStation 30th anniversary PS5 DualSense controller comes in a themed box
As previously revealed, the 30th anniversary DualSense comes in a box reminiscent of the original PS1 packaging. The box features artwork comprised of various PlayStation products on the inside. Within the outer packaging is another box that houses the controller itself. This inner box is grey in color — another throwback to the PS1 — and features PlayStation symbols.
The DualSense itself looks pretty nifty, and I’m personally loving the color scheme. The back of the controller also mentions that it’s a 30th anniversary special item. I’m no expert, but I’m guessing these controllers will have a very high resale value, especially considering that they’ve been produced in very limited quantity.
The PlayStation 30th anniversary DualSense will be available on Thursday, November 21, along with other limited edition anniversary products including the PS5 Slim, PS5 Pro, and the PS Portal. A themed DualSense Edge will also be available on the same date.
