Survival MMO Doomsday: Last Survivors Gets Playful with B.Duck Collab Event

Here’s something you don’t see every day. 

Zombies are a common feature of dark, apocalyptic games like Doomsday: Last Survivors. So are battles, skirmishes, ambushes, assaults, and other forms of deadly encounter  between the living and the undead. 

It’s less common to see rubber ducks. 

Doomsday X B.Duck is the latest collaboration event in popular survival strategy MMO, and it’s just possible that you need a bit of a primer on what B.Duck is all about.

B.Duck is well-known in Asia, Southeast Asia and other countries, and has gradually expanded its influence in the global market in recent years. It has 400 different licenses, 19 million social media followers, and sales worth more than HKD 20 billion.

The IP’s motto is “be playful”, and over the next few months it’s going to be applying that maxim to Doomsday: Last Survivors.

For the uninitiated, Doomsday: Last Survivor is a sprawling survival MMO developed by IGG, the blockbuster studio behind Lords Mobile and a library of other hit mobile and PC games. 

It sees you commanding a community of survivors in a zombie-infested wasteland. That means maintaining a stronghold, training troops, recruiting iconic heroes, and joining battle with humans and zombies alike. 

The Doomsday X B.Duck event is set to take place in two waves, the first throughout November and the second throughout January 2025. More on that one later.

From November 1st you’ll be able to take part in four distinct events. The first, Vault Adventure, sees you obtaining B.Duck Keys through gameplay or the in-game shop and using them to draw prizes.

Then there’s B.Duck Diary, a daily login event that lets you claim collab-exclusive items by logging in every day. If you make it to seven, you’ll get an exclusive themed Shelter decoration. 

Quacking Escapade involves completing daily missions to earn EXP. Whenever you hit a new level, you’ll pocket another round of rewards, and you can increase these rewards by unlocking different levels of the Battle Pass.

The last of these four events in B.Duck Artsy Gift, which sees you completing trials to claim rewards. Complete them all and you’ll get the ultimate prize.

Collaboration merch up for grabs includes Power banks and sports towels too, with these given away via an in-game lucky draw web page event. You can draw prizes once for free during the event ( the first time you visit the website). You can also earn points to get more draw chances.

Naturally, IGG has launched a special event site where you can spin a Lucky Wheel for a chance to win prizes, including a US$200 Amazon Gift Card.
