Fisch No Life Rod
The No Life Rod is one of the latest rods to be added to Fisch!
The No Life Rod… Is It Good?
With it being a reward rod (more on that below in the ‘How to Get’ section), you’d expect the stats to be good. Well, they are! Your luck gets a 100% boost and the Lure Speed is significantly increased, making it easy to catch fish, with a higher chance of them being rare.
Luck
+100%
Lure Speed
+99
Max Kg
Infinite
Resilience
0%
Control
+0.2
Other than the boost to your Luck and Speed, the fact that the Max Kg is infinite makes this rod worth the grind. However, I do have some issues with the No Life rod. To get to level 500, you are more than likely going to have a complete Bestiary, and that includes all of the islands. While the Luck and Speed buffs are great, at this level, do you need the extra luck?
To counter that though, I suppose these stat boosts come in handy when newer rare fish are added in future updates, especially limited-time event fish. While getting regular fish, the rod seems mute, as you’ll already have them by level 500.
But, I reckon the No Life rod is a great option for catching fish with super rare mutations or those that have a low chance of appearing during a seasonal event, like Fisch Fright. We all know how unlikely it was to reel in a Nessie!
How to Get the No Life Rod
One of the biggest changes in the recent update is the level cap being raised from 99 to 500, which is a huge jump. However, your efforts do not go to waste, as reaching level 500 is quite an achievement. Yep, the No Life Rod is the reward for hitting level 500!
The level cap increase has only just happened, so the number of people who obtain the No Life rod will be slim, at least for now. And if you do see someone with one, you know that they’ve put in the time.
How to Level Up in Fisch
To get to level 500, you’re going to have to spend a lot of time in the game… and I mean a lot. Levelling up in Fisch takes quite a while as it is, but there are ways to speed it up. Completing Angler Quests when they become available is a great way to earn extra EXP. Plus, if you come across any side quests on the different islands, like Wilson’s Quest on Snowcap, you get EXP upon completion.
Other than that, it’s all about catching rare and mutated fish, as well as fish you’ve never caught before. Filling out your Bestiary is one of the main ways to level up, especially when you complete an island’s Bestiary page in full. New fish are added in updates, so that’s another way to boost your EXP too!
