All Upcoming Confirmed Characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The past week has been an exciting one for the fans of Disney Dreamlight Valley due to the Showcase, revealing the new upcoming Storybook Vale expansion, the next free update, new features, and more. In addition to the future content of Disney Dreamlight Valley, the Devs also shared the next Roadmap up to Summer 2025. The new Roadmap shows the upcoming free updates and the two parts for the new expansion. Moreover, from the overview of the updates, we can see the upcoming confirmed characters for Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Roadmap (2025) – Upcoming Confirmed Characters

From the Showcase, we know that there is only one new character, Sally who will come in the next free update, Sew Delightful. Moreover, the first part of the Storybook Vale expansion will bring four characters – Flynn Rider, Merida, Maleficent, and Hades. Maleficent will be a part of the first act, but she will not unlock until the second part of the expansion.

Now, if we take a look at the Roadmap from the Early 2025 update to the Summer 2025, we can count six confirmed characters combined from both free update and expansion.

Early 2025 (free update) – “Explore a new world and revel on a magical adventure.”

This update will bring the Aladdin Realm to the Dream Castle which will include Aladdin and Jasmine.

Spring 2025 (free update) – “Step into the land of wonder and meet new friends along the way.”

This update will bring the Alice in Wonderland Realm to the Dream Castle. It will include Alice and Cheshire Cat.

Summer 2025 (free update) – “Solve an ancient mystery and discover who is waiting inside Skull Rock.”

Players will finally be able to solve the mystery of Skull Rock. It will unlock Peter Pan character.

Summer 2025 (Part Two of expansion pass) – “Solve the mystery of the missing princess.”

Maleficent will help players go beneath the Storybook Vale world where they will be able to solve the mystery to unlock the missing princess. The missing princess will be Aurora.
