“A crew of murderous pirates is coming!” Disney has revealed their new official trailer for Skeleton Crew, a brand new entirely original Star Wars series about kids mainly meant for kids to enjoy. It’s pretty much The Goonies, but set in the geeky sci-fi Star Wars universe, which actually looks kind of awesome. Ready for launch in December. The new series is created by Jon Watts (of the recent Spider-Man movies) and writer Christopher Ford (of Cop Car, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Chaos Walking). Four rough & tumble kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leads them to get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The series follows along as the kids get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy and have to find their way home, meeting unlikely allies & enemies along the way. Their group includes Wim (Ravi Cabot-Conyers), Fern (Ryan Kiera Armstrong), KB (Kyriana Kratter) + Neel (Robert Timothy Smith) as the main four, who are joined by: the mysterious and enigmatic Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law) and the droid SM-33 (voiced by Nick Frost), the decrepit first mate of the Onyx Cinder spaceship. The series cast also includes Tunde Adebimpe and Kerry Condon. This looks amazing! I’m all about this – looks like a blast. Dive in. // Continue Reading ›
