Fisch Brine Pools Guide

Similar to Roslit Volcano, you’ll need a unique rod to fish in the harsh acidic lakes known as the Brine Pools. These crevices hidden in the depths of the Desolate Deep are home to a bunch of new fish necessary for completing your Brine Pool Bestiary. Let’s get into it!

Reinforced Rod Obtainment

To get this rod, you’ll need to first travel to the Desolate Deep by heading to the red bouy out past Sunstone Island. Before diving, you should buy and equip the scuba gear sold at the bouy, or get the cheaper set from Moosewood at the Shipwright. This prevents you from drowning as you swim in and navigate the tight caves.

When you surface, you’ll be inside the Desolate Deep. Simply follow the path to the left to find and purchase the Reinforced Rod for 20,000C$.

Brine Pool Location

From within the Desolate Deep, you’ll want to climb up the stone ledges North of the area. Climb all the way up ignoring the wooden bridge and get as high as possible. From here, you’ll need to use a Glider to move around the faces of the rock and onto each platform. When on the final one, follow the stone path and head inside the small cave opening where the Brine Pool lies in wait on the other side.

This makes the Brine Pool one of the most expensive areas to access within Fisch since it demands a Glider to enter. A Glider costs 9,000C$ with the additional cost of diving gear ranging from 3,000C$ for the Basic Diving Gear or 15,000C$ for the Advanced.
