As PS Stars Wallet fund rewards continue to remain missing for numerous players, members have discovered that some of the loyalty program’s PS Store rewards are busted too. Those who want to redeem their points against certain games and virtual currency aren’t able to do so, making us wonder why Sony hasn’t considered taking PS Stars offline and fixing it once and for all.
Which PlayStation Stars PS Store rewards are broken?
Sony recently added Thank Goodness You’re Here for 5,000 points to PS Stars rewards (note: rewards vary from member to member). I noticed quite a few players complaining that when they click on the reward, they’re prompted to make a payment for the game. I tried it myself, and was unable to claim the game with my points because the option to do so isn’t available.
PS4 game Pacify, which has been in the PS Store rewards section for quite some time, can’t be redeemed at the time of this writing. Gran Turismo 7 is also unavailable. When I click on Worms Armageddon, the PS App leads me to a broken page. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is also leading some players to a broken page.
As for virtual currency, a large number of players are unable to redeem their points against Destiny 2 and Apex Legends microtransactions.
Again, we have no idea what’s going on here, but this is a terrible look for Sony.
