Disney Dreamlight Valley’s second expansion pass has just been announced and revealed in today’s Showcase. The new expansion pass takes place in a new magical world floating in the sky. This new land holds three unique biomes where players will get to unravel the magical world’s mysteries with the help of new characters. The new and upcoming expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley is called The Storybook Vale. In this article, we will be going over all the details revealed about the expansion during the Showcase.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale – Release Date
The Storybook Vale expansion of Disney Dreamlight Valley is coming on November 20, 2024, on all platforms. Similar to the A Rift in Time expansion, the Storybook Vale will come in different parts. However, this time it will be only in two parts, instead of three. The first part of The Storybook Vale expansion will come on November 20 and the second part will come in Summer 2025.
The main reason behind the shortage of acts for the expansion is to not let players wait longer for the conclusion of the story. Another great thing is that the story length of the expansion is about the same as A Rift in Time so players will get the same amount of content with less wait.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale – Biomes
There are three biomes in the new magical World of Vale – Bind, Everafter, and Mythopia. Each biome has a unique look and design with numerous items, ingredients, materials, etc.
Bind has an autumnal forest theme with a love for books and stories around the biome.
Everafter has a dark, enchanted mushroom forest, and windswept moorlands look to it.
Mythopia is inspired by Greco-Roman culture and ancient myths.
Moreover, each biome has a unique critter that players will find in different colors and patterns. Similar to other critters in the game, all three of these critters have a unique catching mini-game that players will have to complete to befriend them.
Owls in the Bind biome.
Mini Dragons in the Everafter biome.
Mini Winged Horses in the Mythopia biome.
Last but not least, players will meet each new character in a certain biome which is as follows.
Merida in the Bind biome.
Flynn in the Everafter biome.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale – Features
There are several new unique features coming to the Storybook Vale expansion. Starting with a new tool which will be a Royal Net. The Royal Net is used for catching the Snippets (the adorable paper animals). Players will find Snippets around the Vale and its biomes as well as some of the special ones in The Valley. Catching these Snippets will allow players to complete Lorekeeper’s puzzle mini-games.
The puzzle mini-game requires players to complete a Disney and Pixar tale by placing snippets and turning them into a tapestry. Upon creating a tapestry, players then can use it as a décor item.

The Storybook Vale expansion alone is priced at $29.99 which will get you additional 5,000 Moonstones. Moreover, you can also purchase the new Magical Edition for $49.99 to get the Storybook Vale expansion along with the following in-game items.
