Demented, Uber-Gory Homeless Misfits Horror ‘Street Trash’ Trailer

“The mayor’s melting people!” Screambox has revealed an official trailer for Street Trash, a demented, uber-gory horror creation from South Africa. It’ll be out on VOD and streaming on Screambox this fall. It’s actually an update on a horror cult classic from 1987 also called Street Trash, but it’s not a direct copy. “Our reimagining of Street Trash takes place in Cape Town, South Africa where the growing divide between rich and poor has changed the world as we know it,” director Ryan Kruger explains. “I was a huge fan of the original Street Trash when I was a kid, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce a whole new generation to the melted gonzo goodness that made the original such a classic.” This new version stars Sean Cameron Michael, Donna Cormack-Thomson, & Joe Vaz.
