Search the Jungle for Pumbaa and Take a Picture

After speaking with Timon at the camp area, make your way to the Oasis area, the starting area of the Lion King Realm where you first spawn. Once there, go to the other side of the pond to find Pumbaa stuck in the end of a tree log. Interact with Pumbaa to speak with him and then go to the jungle river to inform Timon about Pumbaa.

Go back to Pumbaa’s location in the Oasis and equip the camera to take a photo. Speak with Timon again and he will tell you to collect various Oily Bugs.

Search for Oily Bugs

There are three types of Oily Bugs you need to find by breaking the rock nodes in the Jungle. We found all the rock nodes in the jungle river area. Equip your Pickaxe tool and hit the rock node to see if it drops any oily bugs.

2x Yellow Oily Bug

1x Red Oily Bug

1x Blue Oily Bug

After finding all Oily Bugs, go back to Timon at the Pumbaa’s location and discuss the next step.

Cook the Oily Bugs and Combine Bug Oils

After discussing the next step with Timon, go to the Volcanic Stove just outside the cave in the jungle river area. Interact with the stove and navigate to the quests section to find Green Bug Oil and Orange Bug Oil recipes. Autofill the ingredients and cook both Bug Oils individually.

Once done, interact with the stove again and find the Super Slippery Bug Oil recipe in the quests section. Autofill the ingredients and cook the Super Slippery Bug Oil.

Give Timon the Super Slippery Bug Oil

Now, go back to Timon at Pumbaa’s location and give him the Super Slippery Bug Oil by interacting with him. He will mix the Bug Oil with your Watering Can. Equip the Watering Can tool and use it on Pumbaa to see if he can free himself from the log. Unfortunately, Pumbaa still couldn’t free himself from the log. After that, speak with Timon about what to do next.

Check with Goofy for a Solution to free Pumbaa

Travel back to the Valley and look on the map to find Goofy. Go to Goofy and speak with him to tell him about Pumbaa’s situation. Goofy will give you a plunger, but you must first reinforce it with the materials.
