Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new update, Jungle Getaway is live right now and it includes all new story content as well as new Friendship Quests for the two new characters Timon and Pumbaa. Timon and Pumbaa are originally from the Lion King movie, and players will be able to unlock them and invite them to the Dreamlight Valley. This guide will help you how to unlock Timon and Pumbaa in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Unlock Timon and Pumbaa in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Unlocking Timon and Pumbaa characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley will require players to return to the Lion King Realm and complete all of the new Realm quests. The Lion King Realm is on the second floor of the Dream Castle and players can also fast travel to it. However, if players haven’t opened The Lion King Realm and have not unlocked Simba and Nala, they will first have to unlock them and increase Friendship to Level 10 with both of them.
It costs 10,000 Dreamlight to unlock The Lion King Realm initially, and the players who have already unlocked it and reached Friendship Level 10 with both Simba and Nala can directly pursue the new content. To get started, speak with Simba to initiate the Finding Old Friends quest which will lead the players back to The Lion King Realm to find Timon and Pumba.
NOTE: The Finding Old Friends quest will only appear when players have reached Friendship Level 10 with Simba and Nala.
Upon returning to The Lion King Realm, meet with Timon and Pumbaa near the waterfall in the jungle river area. From there, complete a few hakuna matata lessons to unlock the new quests. There are three quests in total that you should complete to unlock both Timon and Pumbaa.
During the end of the ‘Where’s Pumbaa’ quest, you will welcome Pumbaa first and then Timon to the Valley which will conclude the quest but also unlock both of the new characters.
From here, you can freely hang out with them, give them gifts, and complete their Friendship Quests for exclusive rewards.
