Paradox Shikai Types – All Moves and How to Unlock

There’s a variety of Paradox Shikai types on offer. They all come with 3 different moves each, with some being much flashier than others!

Only Soul Reapers can use Shikai abilities.

How to Unlock Shikai

Unlocking your Shikai is easy… well, sort of. You need to reach 200 Potential, followed by using your N key. Complete 2 mini-games, followed by a boss fight. Use our Paradox Soul Reaper progression guide to learn more about the obtainment method.

All Shikai

No matter the rarity, here are all the Shikai types that you can obtain.

Common

All common rarity Shikai has an 89% chance to drop.

Fire Shikai
Incineration
Lift your hand to blast enemies directly in front of you with fire
Whirl
Lunge forward as you’re coated in flames, attacking your enemy all at once
Burn Dart
Unleash explosions of fire that fall from the sky to deal damage to your target

Shadow Shikai
Eclipse
Strike your enemy multiple times in a row, with the final hit sending them into the air
Shadow Clones
Summon your Shadow Clones, which attack the target alongside you. You can either point to a certain enemy for them to attack, or they’ll automatically hit the target standing the closest to you
Twin Strikes
A powerful slash attack

Wind Shikai
Kaze Twirl
A strong blast that knocks your enemy back
Gale Slashes
An attack that flies out directly in front of you to strike your target
Gust
3 gusts of wind that move forward, dealing damage to everything along the path

Rare

Rare Shikai has a 10% chance to drop.

Blood Shikai
Echo
As you jump up, you summon pillars of blood underneath you, knocking all nearby enemies away
Carnage
Drag your enemy across the floor after striking them, and throw them away
Ending
Summon a dragon made of blood to attack your target

Lightning Shikai
Disaster Strike
Summon multiple bolts of lightning all at once
Volt Dash
Use lightning chains to hit your targets multiple times, sending them flying into the air
Chaotic Bolt
Unleash an explosion of lightning from the sky

Legendary

All Legendary Shikai has a 1% chance to drop, making them the rarest in Paradox.

Rampage Shikai
Crusher
Dash forward, followed by unleashing an AoE attack
Rage
Use your blades to strike all nearby enemies
Meteor Crash
Jump to a new spot. Upon your impact with the ground, you create a large explosion, damaging the floor beneath you

Gravity Shikai
Gravity Control
Pull your enemy towards you, and then knock them up into the air, followed by pulling them back down to the ground
Gravity Push
Use your blade to strike the target, sending them ragdolling backwards
Gravity Pull
Pull the enemy to your location

Flower Shikai
Blossom
Send out a flurry of flowers towards your target in a line
Sakura Slash
Strike and then unleash an AoE attack of sakura petals
Petal Storm
Dash forward whilst slashing your enemy multiple times, leaving a path of sakura
