Disney Dreamlight Valley Free Update – Jungle Getaway Features, New Star Path, & Release Date

Disney Dreamlight Valley recently released its latest developer update featuring the upcoming additions to The Valley in the next free update. The upcoming free update is called Jungle Getaway and it features two new characters from The Lion King Realm, Timon and Pumbaa. The update will bring a new Star Path called The Night Show focused on the Rockstar theme items and rewards.

Moreover, the update also includes special collaborated in-game items (backpacks) with Loungefly, and various quality-of-life improvements. Here is everything shared in Dinsey Dreamlight Valley’s latest developer update.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Jungle Getaway – Free Update Contents

The Jungle Getaway update will feature Timon and Pumbaa from The Lion King Realm, each one offering a unique questline for players to complete. For players to get associated with the new characters, they will have to go back to The Lion King Realm at the Dreamlight Castle. Not only that, the Lion King Realm has received some changes and it will be in daylight instead of nighttime.

Players will join Timon and Pumbaa in a relaxing adventure at the Lion King Realm, and upon completing their questlines, they will be able to welcome them to The Valley where more exciting quests will unlock for both of the characters. An overview of their quests is as follows.

Timon Friendship Quests – Help Timon calm his nerves and settle into the Valley.

Pumbaa Friendship Quests – Help Pumbaa embrace Pottery as a new hobby.

Completing their Friendship Quests will earn players exclusive friendship rewards from each of them.

The Night Show Star Path Coming in Jungle Getaway Update

Alongside the new content in The Valley, the update will also bring a brand-new Star Path called The Night Show. The Night Show Star Path is themed around music festivals and rock concerts, offering rebellious clothing items and hairstyles. The rewards are inspired by rock music, Disney Princesses, and Disney Villains. Moreover, the Star Path offers various music-themed items that can be used to build a rock stage in The Valley.

Loungefly Collaboration Items

Disney Dreamlight Valley has collaborated with Loungefly and bringing exclusive backpack styles for players in the Jungle Getaway update. There will be multiple backpacks and two of them can be acquired from The Night Show Star Path.

Quality-of-Life Improvements in Jungle Getaway Update

Last but not least, the Devs have added various quality-of-life improvements to the upcoming update.

Scrooge McDuck’s Store Layout Update: Furniture Items will appear in place of any empty clothing displays.

Changeable Mode Control Schemes (Controller): Players will be able to choose between the free-flowing and hybrid style control schemes for their gameplay preferences.

Add Duties & Crafting Recipes to on-screen Quest Tracker: Players will be able to add any duty or crafting recipe to the on-screen quest tracker to keep track of their daily activities.

These were just some of the few quality-of-life improvements that are coming to the Jungle Getaway update.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Jungle Getaway (Free Update) will be released next week on October 9, 2024.
