How to Reach the Eternal Forest in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
The Eternal Forest is located northwest of Hyrule Castle and it is recommended that you go into the Eternal Forest after completing the two rifts in Gerudo Desert and Jabul Waters. As you make your way to the Eternal Forest, pick up the waypoint outside of the forest and the one in the middle of the forest.

After activating the Eternal Forest waypoint (middle of the forest), you need to look for hoof marks in the mud and follow these prints to reach Lynel. The first set of hoof prints will be just south of the waypoint, pointing to the left side. Follow along with the prints to circle around the area and find Lynel in an open area.

Lynel is a strong enemy and can easily eliminate you with one strong swing attack. There aren’t many monster echoes that can defeat Lynel, but you can use Sword Moblin Lv.3 echo, also found in the Eternal Forest. It will take a couple of swings from Lynel once it is defeated but you can summon it again instantly. Keep summoning the Sword Moblin Lv.3 echo in front of Lynel to defeat it.
Now, another method to defeat Lynel is to use the Swordfighter form. If you are willing to use the Swordfighter form, equip the Ancient Charm accessory item to reduce incoming damage. Moreover, you can also consume a smoothie that grants a reduced damage effect. Once ready, transform to Swordfighter form and unleash attacks on Lynel to defeat it.
