Disney Dreamlight Valley offers a variety of themed clothes and decorating items that players can acquire to customize their avatar and decorate the Valley. Most of these items are acquired by simply progressing through the game and improving relationships with the villagers (characters). However, the rare and exclusive items are obtained either from the Premium Shop or the Star Path.
In every major update, the Devs release a specific themed Star Path filled with numerous items of a certain theme, allowing players to get creative in decorating the Valley and its contents. The current Star Path theme is Dapper Delights which induces a Twenties-style for the Valley and is available until October 2, 2024.
As the end time of the current Star Path draws near, it seems like some players have an idea of what they want next in Star Path. Recently, a player posted on Reddit that they want Devs to “bring out a Cottagecore Star Path”. In the post, the person shared their thoughts on how well it would fit with the Fall season.
Other users in the comments also agreed with the original poster saying that they would love to see it.
“It would be amazing. A new type of cottage fence and/or path would be amazing too. Cottage core style clothing, maybe some new trees and bushes too.”
“That sounds good, but we need space so bad!”
The Cottagecore-themed items will surely fit in the game and the Devs can bring out premium outfits for various characters to match the theme, but I would agree that we do need more space in The Valley for decorations.
Moreover, for those who don’t know the Devs put out a survey at the start of this year requiring players to fill out a form on which they can feed ideas to the Devs. In the section of Star Path, there was a Cottagecore option and a lot of players selected it, but it didn’t come out since. However, there is a chance that the Devs might consider it and add cottagecore items via the premium shop if not the Star Path in the future.
