How To Make Pills In Soul Cultivation
Before you can make pills, you will need to harvest different herbs. Each herb fits into one of four affinities: Heaven, Earth, Ying, and Yang. Make note of these, as they’ll be important later on! Once you have a variety of herbs, visit the NPC called Wu Ling, who you can find in the Starter Village. Interact with her and select ‘Alchemy’ to start making pills.
Pill Affinity
When selecting a pill you want to craft, there will be an order of affinity at the bottom of the screen. For example, the order for the Qi Pill is Heaven – Heaven – Earth – Ying. So in this case, you must input a Heaven herb, followed by another, then an Earth, and then a Ying. If you put in the incorrect order, you will fail to make a pill.
If you’re unsure which herb matches an affinity, don’t worry! When making a herb, you can see four boxes, one for each affinity. The herb that belongs to the affinity will be in the corresponding box.
Each pill also requires you to be at a certain level. If you are not there, you’ll have to come back later once you have reached it. You can view the required level at the bottom of the menu before crafting.
