Palia offers various tree seeds that players can obtain by cutting down trees across the Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay map zones. Obtaining and planting the tree seeds will allow players to grow the corresponding tree types through which they can forage a certain fruit or cut them to get wood. Moreover, you can gift the tree seeds to increase friendship with the villagers or give the seeds to villagers who need them. Currently, Ashura needs a Samara seed.

This guide will help you get the Samara Seed in Palia.

How to Get Samara Seed in Palia

Samara is a rare tree seed that is mainly obtained by cutting down the medium and large Birch Trees found all over the Kilima Valley map zone including a player’s Housing Plot area. The Birch Trees are tall with white wood and green leaves. They are easy to locate but you need at least a Standard Axe to cut them down.

NOTE: The drop rate of Samara Seed is low so, it will take you to cut down several Birch Trees (medium/large) before you find one.

Additionally, you can purchase Samara Seed from the Foraging Guild Store (Ashura) for 10 Foraging Medals. Moreover, if you have completed the Vault of the Roots bundles, you will be rewarded with the Ancient Galdur Statue which rewards a random tree seed daily.

Lastly, the final way to get a Samara is through the mail from villagers. Villagers will often send you gifts via mail as you increase your friendship level with them. Kenyatta sends a Samara seed as you reach Friendship Level 1 with her.

Use of Samara Seed in Palia

Samara seed can be used to complete the Prove Your Devotion quest. It is mainly used for planting in a player’s garden to get sapwood trees. Moreover, you can gift it to villagers who like it or who need it. Currently, Ashura needs a Samara until September 22, 2024, so if you have found one, bring it to him.
