“Why are you back now?” “The emeralds…” MGM Amazon Studios has revealed the first official trailer for a wacky crime comedy called Brothers, the latest from Palm Springs writer / director Max Barbakow. It’s set for a release in October this fall, streaming on Prime Video in addition to some theaters (probably required by the actor’s contracts) for only a week. “Family is a life sentence.” Two criminal twin brothers, one trying to reform, embark on a dangerous heist road trip. Facing legal troubles, gunfights, and family drama, they must reconcile their differences before their mission leads to self-destruction.
