Classic Trailer Rewatch: 90s Monster Movie ‘Tremors’ with Kevin Bacon

“Where do they come from?” “I vote for outer space. No way these are local boys.” Time for another Classic Trailer Rewatch session. This time we’re featuring the original trailers for the 1990 horror comedy monster movie classic Tremors. It first opened in January 1990 and made a fair amount at the box office, but only became a real hit later on home video. I grew up watching this all the time with my family – always having a blast with it. Tremors eventually inspired a whole bunch of sequels – Tremors 2: Aftershocks in 1996 all the way through Tremors 5 in 2015 and a few direct-to-video sequels recently, too. This first movie is still the OG best. A group of people ina small isolated desert town defend themselves against strange underground creatures which are killing them one by one. Starring Kevin Bacon, Fred Ward, Finn Carter, Michael Gross, and Reba McEntire, with an appearance by the iconic Victor Wong.
