The latest patch of Satisfactory (v1.0) unlocks the end chapter of the game and allows players to finish the story of the game. Moreover, with the final Tier of Milestones, players can unlock various new machines and produce new resources essential for several end-game items.
One of the new buildings in Satisfactory is Portal allowing players to teleport from Point A to Point B anywhere on the map instantly. However, these Portals aren’t cheap to build and certainly not cheap to run. This guide will help you how to build and use the portals in Satisfactory.
How to Build the Portals in Satisfactory
The Portals in Satisfactory are the new buildings that unlock at Tier 9 – Spatial Energy Regulation Milestone.
NOTE: Tier 9 is the final tier in the game’s Milestones, so it will take you a lot of time to unlock.
Once unlocked, you have to build the Main and the Satellite Portals individually, and both of them cost specific ingredients.
Building the Main Portal in Satisfactory

15× Superposition Oscillator
25× SAM Fluctuator
50× Ficsite Trigon
Building the Satellite Portal in Satisfactory
To build the Satellite Portal in Satisfactory, you will need the following set of ingredients.
5× Radio Control Unit

How to Use the Portals in Satisfactory
The Portals are a highly advanced end-game transportation method consisting of two portals, the Main Portal and the Satellite Portal. As the name suggests, the Main Portal is the primary portal that is used for teleporting a player to the Satellite Portal. However, it is a one-way trip and you cannot use the Satellite Portal to go back to the Main Portal.
Moreover, to use the Portals, you need a constant supply of Singularity Cells attached to the Main Portal via a conveyor belt on its backside. Once the supply of Singularity Cells has been taken care of, the next step is to link the Main Portal with the Satellite Portal by interacting with its UI. Doing so will put the Main and the Satellite Portals in a heat-up sequence taking up to 1,000 MW Power for 30 seconds.
Once the Portals are powered up, the Power draw will drop to 250 MW constant and the Main Power will consume 2 Singularity Cells per minute.
NOTE: If the Main Portal goes dry on Singularity Cells or the Power goes out on either portal, the link connection between the portals will shut down.
Make sure that you are providing the power and the supply of Singularity Cells at all costs during the usage of the portals.
