Lancetfish is one of the rare fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley that players can catch by fishing in The Valley, and add to their fish collection. Moreover, it is required for completing the ‘Part of His World’ quest for Prince Eric, and is used to cook ‘Lancetfish Paella’ 5-star entrée meal.

Where to Find Lancetfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Lancetfish is found only in the Forgotten Lands biome located northwest of The Valley. It is connected to the Sunlit Plateau biome and requires 15,000 Dreamlight to unlock. Once you have access to the Forgotten Lands, go over to one of the two ponds in the biome and look for Blue Ripples (bubbles).

How to Catch Lancetfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After locating the Blue Ripples in the Forgotten Lands biome, equip the Royal Fishing Rod tool and cast the rod line inside the blue bubbles. Now, complete the fishing mini-game to catch the Lancetfish.

TIP: If you don’t find any Blue Ripples, start fishing in the White/Gold Ripples in the ponds to spawn a blue one after some time.

Use of Lancetfish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Lancetfish is mainly required for completing the Friendship Level 3 quest for Prince Eric called ‘Part of His World’. Moreover, players can consume the Lancetfish to restore 1,300 Energy, sell it to Goofy for 650 Star Coins, or use it to cook a 5-Stat Entrée meal called Lancetfish Paella.
