Wrathful Book and Shouting Tiara is the first boss Abyss of Time boss in Persona 3 Reload: Episode Aigis that players will encounter inside Malebolge door. This guide will provide you tips and tricks to easily defeat Wrathful Book and Shouting Tiara to progress ahead in the expansion pass story of Persona 3 Reload.
Where to Find Wrathful Book & Shouting Tiara Boss in P3R: Episode Aigis
Once you have made it to Malebolge’s door after the initial encounter with Metis at the Iwatodai Dorm, make your way down to the B7 floor. Here, you will be able to use the teleport to regroup and replenish HP and SP. Once you are ready, head back inside the Malebolge door and go down to the B8 floor to encounter the Wrathful Book and Shouting Tiara.
Tips & Tricks to Defeat Wrathful Book & Shouting Tiara
The Wrathful Book is weak to Fire Damage and the Shouting Tiara is weak against Ice. As you will have access to Aigis, Metis, Yukari, and Ken, you have to use Aigis for Fire Damage and Metis for Ice Damage.
NOTE: Don’t use AOE attacks for both Fire and Ice as Wrathful Book repels Ice and Shouting Tiara drains fire.
Now, follow along the steps below to easily defeat Wrathful Book & Shouting Tiara.
As you engage the boss, use Agilao attack as Aigis to deal Fire Damage to Wrathful Book. Use Bufula attack as Metis to deal Ice Damage to both Shouting Tiara one by one.
Once all three enemies are down, engage the All-Out Attack to deal critical damage.
Here, you will get another attack so take advantage of it and use any attack to deal additional damage.
Most probably, Shouting Tiara will use Provoke here to inflict Rage on one of the characters in the party. Cure the Rage with Patra Gem (if any) or cast Patra as Yukari. If you don’t cure Rage quickly, you will waste a couple of turns for that character, and Aigis and Metis are crucial for this fight.
Moreover, the Wrathful Book will use Tetrakarn on Shouting Tiara which will reflect any physical damage. When this attack is applied, don’t use any physical attack to avoid any unnecessary damage.
If your characters are all good, repeat the first three steps to deal extensive damage.
Now, if your character gets hurt, make sure to use Media Attack as Yukari to slightly restore party’s HP.
After this point, the fight will be repetitive so play it according to the attacks of the boss, if anyone is inflicted with Rage, cast Patra to cure it, if Tetrakarn is applied on Shouting Tiara, avoid any physical damage and cast the fire/ice attacks to stun the opponents to do the All-Out attack.
