Devas of Creation Sword Build

The way you upgrade your Great Sword is crucial to how well it performs in combat. Every weapon has a skill tree, each of which comes with a variety of optional skills that you use in battle between cooldowns. All skills have mini upgrades too, which is a must for those that you plan on keeping on your weapon hotbar.

Sword Skill Tree Build

Funnily enough, my favourite Sword build within the skill tree includes mostly abilities on the right side. I do think the Spin skill on the left side is a good option too!

Skill: Sword Slam
This skill slows the enemy down and deals high damage in a direct lineThis is the best skill to unlock first, as one of its sub-upgrades (Heal), replenishes your HP as you deal damageAnother one of its sub-upgrades increases your attack and movement speed, whilst slowing the enemy down
Skill: Skyrend Strike
Jump into the air and strike down to hit all nearby enemiesThe Stun upgrade prevents the enemy from moving for a short while and has a 50% chance of affecting all nearby enemies
Skill: Sonic Impulse

With 185% Power, you slash your fire-coated sword down

Best Stats

To wield a sword, you need high Strength and high Dexterity. The former determines how much damage you deal while attacking enemies with the weapon. With a large sword, you’re going to want to pack a punch!

Your Dexterity stat, once high enough, means your speed and agility won’t be majorly affected by heavier weapons. The larger a weapon, the more it slows you down. Some of the great swords are quite hefty, which encumbers you to the point where you movement speed is decreased.
