Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 – How to Get Armoury Data and Use It

Unlocking the higher tier of your favorite weapons in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 requires Armoury Data, a collectible resource only found in cooperative Operations. It is an essential resource for enhancing your firepower of weapons and it comes in different rarities allowing you to get the best weapons for chaotic challenges in operations.

This guide will help you get Armoury Data and use it in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2.

How to Acquire Armoury Data in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2

The Armoury Data is mainly found at both certain and random locations throughout the Operation missions. One of the main ways to get guaranteed Armoury Data is to find a Servo-Skull. Servo-Skulls are hidden across an Operation mission and spawn in random locations. The best method to locate a Servo-Skull is to explore every possible path before moving to the next area. Upon finding a Servo-Skull, interact with it to loot an Armoury Data of a certain rarity corresponding to the selected difficulty.

Now, before we discuss the other two methods to get Armoury Data, it is crucial that you know the different rarities of Armoury Data.

Master-crafted/Green rarity Armoury Data drops on Minimal and Average difficulties.

Artificer/Purple rarity Armoury Data drops on Substantial difficulty.

Relic/Orange rarity Armoury Data drops on Ruthless difficulty.

NOTE: Unlocking a higher tier weapon will require Armoury Data of the corresponding rarity.

During your run in Operations, there is one guaranteed Armoury Data that will spawn in a certain location. Moreover, if you encounter any mini-boss in any operation, they will drop one Armoury Data as well.

NOTE: The mini-bosses don’t spawn in every run, you might have to replay the Operation several times to spawn them and get additional Armoury Data.

Another thing that is worth mentioning is that Armoury Data is stored in the limited inventory slots for all players. So, if any player in your party picks up the Armoury Data will count for all the players. However, make sure to survive and complete the mission to secure the looted Armoury Data.

Lastly, another method through which players can get three Master-crafted (green rarity) Armoury Data per class is by completing their Class Tiers with an A-rank. In short, you can get 18 Armoury Data in total just by completing the training trials.

How to Use the Armoury Data in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2

The Armoury Data is used for unlocking higher tiers of weapons which become available as you earn a certain amount of XP by completing Operations. Once the next tier of the weapon is available, use a corresponding type of Armoury Data to unlock it. Moreover, each higher tier will offer more versions of the weapon type which you can purchase with Requisition.

Another use of Armoury Data is to bypass weapon mastery to get Mastery Points. Instead of earning XP in Operations to master a weapon, you can spend Armoury Data to acquire a Mastery Point which then can be used in the weapon’s perk tree for enhancements.
