This guide will walk you through the ninth chapter of The Casting of Frank Stone.

Chapter 9: Descent of the Damned – Walkthrough

You play as Linda in the ninth chapter continuing from the events that took place in Chapter Seven.

Find a way back to others

Once you get the control, go through the gap in the wall to reach the toilet/shower room. Go to the right side to open a door to a locker area. Before heading through the gap on the left, crawl under the dropped lockers on the right side. Turn left and you should see a blink on a cabinet. Interact with the cabinet to find a key.

Now, crawl back to the other side and cross the gap to go ahead. Check the lockers to find a one with the lock. Interact with it to unlock it with the key and find the Grandmother Letter which will mark The Champion (artifact). After that, go to the double door and open it to go to the boiler room. Here, you will find a leak that you need to turn off to continue ahead.

Find the missing boiler parts

You cannot stop the leak without the missing parts of the boiler. Go back to the locker room to find the parts. The first part is in the locker, and the second part is in the shower. Once you have obtained both of the parts, return to the boiler room. Interact with the boilers and place the valves on them to turn off the steam.

Find a way back to the others

Cross through the pathway on the right to go down the staircase and open the door. Continue ahead in the maze hallway and turn right to find Merlin’s (dog) collar. Now, follow along the path to come across a half-opened shutter door. Crawl under the door, turn to the right, jump over the brick wall, and then crawl under the pipes. Keep crawling until you come across an open door.

Go out of the door and turn left. Open the second door on the left side and you will find another narrow path ahead. Crawl ahead until you come out to a room. Interact with the book on the table in the room to find Frank Stone’s Journal, marking another The Champion (artifact).

Now, go to the back of the room and interact with a big metal door to move it to the side. Enter Frank Stone’s old nest and you will find The Doctor (Rellik – collectible). Go out of the room to get back to the maze hallway, and continue along the right side to find a ladder.

Interact with the ladder to climb it which will conclude the chapter.
