Chapter 7: A Perilous Place – Walkthrough

A Perilous Place takes place back in Cedar Steel Mill in 1980 and you play as younger Linda. During the conversation with Bonnie, select the following dialogue choices.

Reluctant – Probably shouldn’t…

Dismissive – None of that.

Find the others

Once you have the control, follow the ramp to reach the door to initiate a cutscene in which you will meet Jaime.

NOTE: If Jaime dies in Chapter Five, you have to go to the Machine Shop to find Jaime’s dead body and get the camera from the floor.

After meeting Jaime, go to the Machine Shop to find the camera. After picking up the camera, go back to the furnace chamber to initiate a cutscene.

Escape the wagon shed

As Linda reaches the wagon shed, use the camera to focus on the spirit and hold the respective button to start shooting. Once the spirit is gone, go over to the scissor lift. Follow the power cable to find the generator. If a spirit appears again, use the camera again to move the spirit away. You need to find a part to repair the generator to fix it.

Go back to the scissor lift and as you cross past the train, look at the box on the right to pick up the part. Now, bring the part to the generator and fix it by passing the QTEs. Once done, go back to the lift and interact with it to lower it.

Survive until the scissor lift lowers

As the lift starts to lower, the spirit will appear again. Use the camera to prevent the spirit from getting you. It will appear three times in different locations so be ready to shoot with the camera. Once the lift has lowered, climb onto it to initiate a brief cutscene.

Find the others

Jump onto the train and go ahead to jump back onto the ramp. Now, follow along the ramp to go to the Rear Yard. Now, before you go down to the yard, cross the ledge to the other side to find the Diamond Cufflinks (Trinket – collectible).

After that, drop down from the platform and interact with the blue door ahead to conclude the chapter.
