With Diablo 4’s PTR 2.0, players have been wandering the World of Sanctuary testing all the new systemic changes along with new skills and passives for every class. Moreover, Diablo 4’s secret-finding community has just found something unusual and exciting that might be hinting at none other than Cow Level which every developer claims doesn’t exist.
The Cow Level was initially introduced in Diablo 2 and was carried over to Diablo 3 in which players had to open a secret portal to access the Cow Level. Now, the community has found 5 distinct items that resemble the items that were required to open the portal in Diablo 3 to access the Cow Leve.
Wowhead reveals that during the PTR 2.0 run, they come across a polearm weapon called Rusted Bardiche, a resemblance to Bovine Bardiche in Diablo3. Moreover, they found four quest items – Unusual Key, Rusted Old Bell, Crooked Staff, and Jabbering Gemstone, all of which resemble items in Diablo 3.
For now, there hasn’t been any lead to what these items do or even if they are used for opening a secret portal or not, but the hope of seeing a Cow Level in Diablo 4 is still alive.
Diablo 4 PTR 2.0 is available until September 11, 2024, on PC.
