Disney Dreamlight Valley offers several duties distributed among various activities and the active Star Path. Completing the duties is a great way to earn Dreamlight currency and the Star Path currency (only from completing the Star Path Duties). However, several players are confused over the wording of the duties as most of them don’t imply a straightforward direction for the task. Mostly the duties whose wording is confusing players are for the current Star Path: Dapper Delights.

One player posted on Reddit asking the Devs to stop miswording the duties so that the players could easily complete the tasks. The user mentioned the ‘Become a five-star chef’ duty for the Star Path in which you have to cook ten 5-star entrée meals. However, as the duty doesn’t mention any specific meal course, it can easily confuse anyone who is making 5-star desserts or appetizers because they will not count for the duty.

Well, there is a way you can figure out these sorts of duties easily which is by looking at the icon on top of the duties. If a duty has an icon of ‘Food in a bowl’, it is an Appetizer, an icon of ‘Food Cover/Pot’ means it is an Entrée, and an icon of ‘Cookie’ means it is a dessert.

However, another duty that is very misleading is the ‘Pick berries from the Beach’, one of the users also mentioned this duty under the post on Reddit. This duty requires players to gather 40 berries from the Beach which points toward picking Blueberries from Dazzle Beach. However, the berries keep counting even if you pick them from the Forest of Valor.

There are surely miswording duties, especially for Star Path in Disney Dreamlight Valley that confuse most of the players. Some of the comments that users on agreeing with the Post are as follows.

To be honest I preferred when the tasks were very straight forward about what you needed to do. Most of the time it doesn’t matter either way, but occasionally you get a poorly worded one that is a bit too vague.”

As someone who’s first language isn’t English, I would very much appreciate if Gameloft tried wording everything better.”

Let us know what you think about the wording of these duties, do they confuse you or what?
