This guide will walk you through the third chapter of The Casting of Frank Stone.

Chapter 3: A Curiosity on Main Street – Walkthrough

At the start of the third chapter, you will switch between Chris and Jaime for various conversations where you have to select the dialogue choices to pursue ahead.

Chris (1980)

While being Chris, select the following choices for dialogue.

Puzzled – What you think he was up to?

Suspicious – Sheriff Green seems to care a lot about this.

Jaime (1980)

As you switch to Jaime, select the following choices for dialogue.

Empathetic – Hey, you okay?

Casual – Just 10 bucks.

Reluctant – You can borrow my van.

Chris (1980)

Switching back to Chris will give you a choice of either going to the Drug Store first or the Curiosity Shop. Select anyone, as you would explore both of these shops despite any decision here.

Look around while waiting for The Storekeeper

Upon choosing the Curiosity Shop, watch the cutscene as you get inside the shop. Once you have Chris’s control, go to the left side and interact with the letter on the box to pick up the Storyteller (artifact). Now, go past the counter from the right side and you will find The Trapper (Rellik – collectible) on the floor at the back of the store.

Moreover, you can look around the store to interact with other items. Once done, go to the counter and speak with Linda to initiate a cutscene. During the conversation with the Storekeeper, select the Appreciative: That seems reasonable, dialogue option.

Buy Milk

Watch the cutscene ahead and you will go to the Drug Store next. Once there, go to the counter on the left side and interact with the Lost Movie Magazine to pick up the Murder Mill (artifact). Now, go to the right side and use the Plunderer’s Instinct ability to reveal the trinket on the shelf. Go and interact with the box to get the Waterlogged Shoe (Trinket – collectible).

Once done, go to the fridge and interact with it to pick up the milk. Go to the counter and ring the bell to initiate a cutscene. During the conversation with Sam Green (Sheriff), select the Probing: What really happened at the mill? dialogue option.
