This guide will walk you through the second chapter of The Casting of Frank Stone.

Chapter 2: In the House of Darkness – Walkthrough

You play as Madison at the start of Chapter Two and begin at the Manor of Augustine Lieber.

Look around and find Augustine Lieber

Once you are inside the mansion, head up the stairs in front and pick up the torn music sheet from the table. Flip over the sheet to examine some piano nodes. Now, head to the left side to go up a few steps of stairs and open the double door ahead. Head inside the room and read the letter on the table beside the chessboard to pick up the Storyteller (artifact).

Go to the piano on the other end of the room and interact with it to play the nodes you saw on the sheet. A secret passageway will open. Speak with Linda and follow along the passage to come to a door. Open the door and look to the left side to find The Huntress (Rellik – collectible). Now, go through the door in front to initiate a cutscene in which you will meet Sam.

During the conversation, the choice menu will pop up, select Casual: Been waiting here a while? dialogue option. Let the conversation play out and once you have control of Madison again, go to the cabinet on the wall beside the burning candle and interact with it. It will reveal a movie poster and Augustine Lieber will walk into the room.

As Augustine introduces herself to the room, she will ask Madison for a drink. Select the Reluctant: No, that’s okay, dialogue option. Let the cutscene play out until you get control of Jaime.

Jaime (1980)

During a suspenseful scene with Jaime, a QTE will pop up. Mash the button on the screen to pass the QTE. Let the scene play out and during the scene, select the following dialogue options.

Defiant – I’d rather die!

Defensive – Chris, I trust Linda’s judgement.

Apologetic – We’re really sorry.

Frustrated – What are we supposed to do with a broken camera?

Watch the rest of the cutscene and the second chapter will conclude.
