Visions of Mana offers multiple currencies all of which are used at specific shops to get essential items for your journey. Lucre is the game’s primary currency, and you will be using it to purchase various items like consumables and equipment and upgrade the equipment at various vendors. However, when you run into Dudbear or the Grizzly Exchange shop, you will witness that it doesn’t trade for Lucre but for Grizzly Syrup.

Where to Get Grizzly Syrup in Visions of Mana
Grizzly Syrup is one of the many currencies in the game and you can get it by picking up the orange orb in the open world. As you traverse through the regions of the fantasy world in Visions of Mana, you will see several glowing-orange orbs on the ground as well as in the air. These orbs are the Grizzly Syrup and you can collect them by going near them. However, some of the orbs are located at certain heights that you cannot normally reach and require the assistance of Pikul Mount.
Grizzly Syrups are available from the very first chapter of the game and upon collecting some, you will be able to trade them to the Grizzly Exchange shop for essential items like healings, cookies, Incense, and more. The regular vendors in the towns usually offer the healing items at their shops but they are quite expensive so, if you have several Grizzly Syrups, feel free to exchange them when you see the Dudbear next time.
NOTE: The Grizzly Syrups are not infinite and they don’t respawn after you collect them. It is best to search all the areas thoroughly to get as many Grizzly Syrups as you can.
Moreover, the Grizzly Exchange shop continuously expands as you progress through the main story. Return to the shop from time to time to purchase any new item that interests you.
