Visions of Mana is an ARPG set in a fantasy world with a lot of treacherous enemies that players will encounter as they progress through the story. Best Ways to Farm Money (Lucre) in Visions of Mana
Lucre is the primary currency in Visions of Mana and is generally obtained along with XP by defeating enemies/bosses and completing missions. Generally, bosses and nemeses drop more money than regular enemies, and applying a Lucre Buff before fighting these strong enemies can net you a great amount of money.
1. Use Incense for Lucre Boost
Using various Incense before fighting the enemies/bosses is one of the most efficient ways to earn extra money in Visions of Mana. There are three different types of Incense that you will come around in the game by exploring the world, or you can purchase them from the Grizzly Exchange shops using the Grizzly Syrups.
Ample Incense – Temporarily increases Lucre gained by 10%.
Rich Incense – Temporarily increases Lucre gained by 15%.
Opulent Incense – Temporarily increases Lucre gained by 20%.
All of these Incense Lucre boost bonuses last for ten minutes which is enough for you to cover a large area with enemies and earn a high amount of money.
2. Interact with Fortuneflies
The best Lucre Boost that you can apply in your exploration of Visions of Mana comes from interacting with Fortuneflies. These are the green butterflies flying at a certain location every time and providing a 100% (double) Lucre boost for one minute.
If you run into any Fortunefly, open the map and mark the current location so that you don’t forget its location. Interact with the butterfly to activate the boost and then go around the area to eliminate the enemies for double Lucre gain.
Moreover, if you apply both Incense and Fortunefly boost, you will gain extra Lucre for both applied bonuses. It is most effective against the bosses and nemeses as they drop the most money.
3. Morley’s Rogue Abilities
Morley is one of the early playable characters in the game and if you apply the Fire Elemental Plot to Morley with the Rogue Class, you will be able to unlock two certain abilities that grant more Lucre at the end of each fight. These abilities are Pillage and Plunder with Pillage being unlockable early in the game.
Pillage – Grants 40% increase in Lucre.
Plunder – Grants a 30% chance of 200% extra Lucre.
With these abilities equipped, playing as Morley is more efficient for farming money.
Apart from these efficient methods, another great way to earn extra money along with XP and items is by completing the Side Quests for various NPCs.
