Star Wars Outlaws offers various unlockable abilities through the Experts for which you have to complete certain quests for them. One such quest is The Mechanic which rewards the Speed Boost ability for your Speeder (ground vehicle). Players can initiate this quest by speaking with the bartender at the Daruda Diner in Jaunta’s Hope (Toshara) after completing the New Tricks (main quest).
Beginning the quest will first make you track Selo Rovak (The Mechanic) who will then ask you to retrieve the Atmospheric Accelerator from The Empire which can be quite tricky. This guide will walk you through how you can find the Atmospheric Accelerator in Star Wars Outlaws.
Find an Atmospheric Accelerator in Star Wars Outlaws
Upon placing the magnetic disruptors and crossing through the wind harvester tunnel, you will reach a shield barrier blocking your way in. Ask Nix to close off the shield and then head inside. Open the vent and go through it to come out on the other side. Head to the left side, climb the pipes and wait for the fans on the right side to turn off first before you cross ahead.
After crossing ahead, drop down to the lower platform and shoot the node on the left side below the fans. As the fans stop, jump across to the lower platform. Grab the handle on the wall on the right side and jump up to grab the grills above. Climb to the left side until you reach another fan and wait for it to turn off. Once the fan is off, climb ahead and then drop below.
You will come across a hole in the pipe below, drop into it, and continue ahead on the path to reach a narrow gap. Squeeze through the gap to come out into an area filled with fans, and wait for the movable structures to go into the wall to cross ahead and grab onto the grill to climb up. Wait for the fans to stop and then jump on the grill of the fans to make your way to the platform on the left side.
Once at the platform, shoot two nodes of the giant fan ahead to stop it and then use the grappling hook to cross the gap ahead. Grab the handle on the left side and wait for the fan to stop. Continue climbing ahead and then jump on the grills above to make your way to the platform on the left side.
As you reach the platform, more movable structures will come out. Wait for them to go into the wall and then run ahead to climb on the grills to reach a higher platform. Now, you need to wait for the movable structures to come out so that you can jump on them to cross ahead. However, be careful as more structures will open over these structures so you have to be quick.
After crossing the structures, climb the handle and wait for the fans to stop to continue climbing ahead. Then, go up to reach a ventilation system. Go through the first vent, climb the ladder ahead, and then head to the vent on the right to drop into the control room. Interact with the console to retrieve the Atmospheric Accelerator.
Upon retrieving the Atmospheric Accelerator, you need to leave the facility by going to the giant fan in the middle using the grappling hook, and then run along in the tunnel to escape on your speeder.
