Nintendo Direct Plus Indie World Showcase August 2024: All Announcements

Nintendo Direct for the year’s second half has just taken place in a new style introducing trailers and announcements from both third-party developers and independent teams. There were rumors regarding the Nintendo Direct taking place in August, with Nintendo officially confirming it yesterday.

The 40-minute-long presentation showcased all the new upcoming video games for Nintendo Switch in the remaining year and the next, starting with Indie World first.

Indie World Showcase

Indie World Showcase revealed 15 titles including updates for the old titles and announcements for new ones.

Balatro – New Free Update, Available Now.

Neva – Coming on October 15, 2024.

Coffee Talk: Tokyo – Expected to be released in 2025.

PowerWash Simulator: Shrek DLC – Coming this fall.

Morsels – Coming in February 2025.

Date Everything – Coming on October 24, 2024.

Peglin – Available Now.

Wobby Life – Coming in December 2024.

Pico Park 2 – Available Now.

Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX – Expected to release in 2025.

Europa – Full game coming on October 11, 2024, a playable demo is available now.

Cuisineer – Coming on January 28, 2025.

On Your Tail – Coming on November 21, 2024.

Metal Slug Tactics – Coming this fall.

Pizza Tower – Available Now.

Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase

Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase revealed 17 titles in total coming to Nintendo Switch.

Tetris Forever & NES Tetris – Coming this year.

Star Overdrive – Expected to be released in 2025.

Goat Simulator 3 – Available Now.

SpongeBob Squarepants: The Patrick Star Game – Coming on October 4, 2024.

Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer – Coming on December 5, 2024.

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 – Expected to be released in 2025.

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics – Coming on September 12, 2024, as a digital version, and the physical version on November 22, 2024.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land – Expected to be released in Early 2025.

Suikoden I&II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars – Coming on March 6, 2025.

Dragon Quest III HD–2D Remake – Coming on November 14, 2024.

Unfortunately, the Nintendo Direct presentation didn’t show any looks for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Mario & Luigi: Brothership, and Super Mario Party Jamboree.
