The Serpent’s Gift quest is a Friendship Quest for Jafar that players can begin after reaching Friendship Level 7 with him. This guide will walk you through The Serpent’s Gift quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete The Serpent’s Gift Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
The Serpent’s Gift quest becomes available once players have completed the Alchemical Revolution quest and reached Friendship Level 7 with Jafar. After that, speak to Jafar to initiate the quest and he will give you four Imagination Generators.
Decorate with Jafar’s Imagination Generators
After speaking with Jafar, go into the Build Mode to find the Imagination Generators under the Requests section. Place the Imagination Generators in the following locations around Eternity Isle.
Lagoon.
Borderlands.
Docks.
Near Oswald’s House.
Once you have placed the generators, wait for 10 minutes (Real Time) for Jafar’s machines to work.
Talk to Oswald and check on him
Once the machines have started working, go to Oswald and speak with him to see if the machines cheered him up or not. Unfortunately, Oswald is feeling odd so cook him a Poutine to see if he cheers up. Go to any cooking station and make a Poutine using the following ingredients.
1x Potato – Can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Forgotten Lands and the Wild Tangle biomes for 189 Star Coins.
1x Canola – Can be purchased from Goofy’s Stall in the Forest of Valor and the Ancient’s Landing biomes for 164 Star Coins.
1x Cheese – Purchased from Chez Remy restaurant for 180 Star Coins.
Bring the Poutine to Oswald to fill him up, but he will still act odd.
Check on other Villagers
After seeing Oswald, go and check up on the following villagers.
Gaston
Scrooge McDuck
Rapunzel
Once you have spoken to the mentioned villagers, then find EVE to check up on her as well.
Investigate the three villagers’ homes
Now, go to the villager’s home and find an item/serpent figure Jafar placed.
Gaston’s Lodge
Scrooge McDuck’s Store (Eternity Isle)
Rapunzel’s Tower
All the serpent figures are on the floor and you can find them tucked between other furniture items. However, we found Scrooge’s one behind the left staircase in his store. Once you have found and destroyed the serpent figures, listen to Rapunzel and Scrooge McDuck just outside Scrooge’s Store. They both seem to act normal now, so go and check up on Gaston.
Investigate the Ancient Ruins
Now, that all villagers are acting normal, head to the Ancient Ruins to search for Jafar’s secret machine. Head to the lower floor of the ruins and go to the room ahead to find Jafar’s machines. Speak to Jafar to confront him about his sinister plot.
Short-circuit and break Jafar’s Machines
There will be three power sources to Jafar’s Machines all located within the room. Go to the corners of the room to find the sources and then equip the Watering Can to short-circuit them. Once done, equip the Royal Pickaxe and break all three of Jafar’s machines.
Confront Jafar
After destroying Jafar’s machines, speak with Oswald to check on him. Jafar will flee from the Ruins so leave the ruins and find him to confront him. Go through the dialogues with Jafar to conclude the quest.

Completing the Serpent’s Gift quest will give the following rewards.
