Black Myth: Wukong offers an exciting journey through the fantasy world with the chapter-based progression system. Each chapter takes place in a new region of the world bringing new challenges and secrets. As each chapter is pretty long and consists of multiple areas, there are various secrets that you can uncover.
Chapter Two: Yellow Sand, Desolate Dusk also has a few secrets one of which is tied to Buddha’s Eyeballs that can be delivered to a mysterious rock to encounter a secret boss. This guide will highlight all six Buddha’s Eyeballs locations in Chapter Two of Black Myth: Wukong.
All Buddha’s Eyeball Locations in Chapter Two of Black Myth: Wukong
There are six Buddha’s Eyeballs in Chapter Two that you can stumble upon by hearing a mysterious musical node when you are near one. As there is no proper map in Black Myth: Wukong, we will guide you toward the Buddha’s Eyeball locations from the nearest Keeper’s Shrine.
NOTE: Interact with any Shrine to see the discovered Keeper’s Shrines under the Travel option.
Buddha’s Eyeball Location #1 – Squall Hideout
From the Squall Hideout Keeper’s Shrine in the Fright Cliff area, turn around and go along the path to find a head with shining eyes on the left side beside a tree. Interact with the head to pick up Buddha’s Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball Location #2 – Squall Hideout
From the Squall Hideout Keeper’s Shrine (same as the last one) in the Fright Cliff area, go along the path on the right to come across a narrow bridge on the right side. Go in the opposite direction of the bridge and jump up on the rocks to find the head with shining eyes. Interact with the head to pick up Buddha’s Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball Location #3 – Squall Hideout
Same as the last one, follow the path on the right to the bridge from the shrine, and cross the bridge. Go up along the stairs to find the head with the shining eyes. Interact with the head to pick up Buddha’s Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball Location #4 – Squall Hideout
From the Squall Hideout Keeper’s Shrine in the Fright Cliff, head along the path on the left side to go into a cavern area. Keep heading straight and go up on the path on the left side. Continue straight to find the head with the shining eyes. Interact with the head to pick up Buddha’s Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball Location #5 – Rockrest Flat
From the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine in the Fright Cliff area, turn around and enter the cavern area. Turn to the first pathway on the right side as you enter the cavern area and follow the path to reach a room with glowing symbols. Look to the right and go out on the wooden platform outside to find the head with the shining eyes. Interact with it to pick up Buddha’s Eyeball.
Buddha’s Eyeball Location #6 – Rockrest Flat
From the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine (same as the last one) in the Fright Cliff area, go to the path on the left to find the head before the big gate (where you fight Stone Vanguard). Interact with the head to pick up the final Buddha’s Eyeball.
How to Use Buddha’s Eyeballs in Black Myth: Wukong – Shigandang (Secret Boss) Encounter
After finding all six Buddha’s Eyeballs, go to the arena where you fought Stone Vanguard near the Rockrest Flat Keeper’s Shrine. As you enter through the big gate, you will see a mysterious stone with several faces on it. Go near the stone and interact with it to deliver all Buddha’s Eyeballs. Doing so will initiate a cutscene and encounter with Shigandang, a secret boss.
Defeating the Shigandang boss will reward a Heart of Stone (material), 3x Silk, and 1,300+ Will.
