A Taste for Literature is a new quest for Remy in Disney Dreamlight Valley added with the free update, Dapper Delights. Players will be able to begin this quest after updating their game to the latest patch and pursue the quest to welcome Tiana, a new character to the Valley.

How to Complete A Taste for Literature Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Starting the Quest
To initiate the A Taste for Literature quest for Remy, you need to find a mysterious cookbook in the Glade of Trust. Moreover, if you open your mail outside of the house, you will see mail from Remy under the ‘A Culinary Development!’ title. The mail will suggest you find the book and bring it to Remy to find interesting recipes.
Head to the Glade of Trust and walk over to the northern pond in the biome to find the cookbook on the ground.
Head over to Chez Remy to consult about the mysterious cookbook
Upon initiating the quest, make your way to the Chez Remy restaurant and speak with Remy regarding the book you found. Go through the dialogues and a memory will come out of the cookbook. Pick up the memory to see Remy enjoying a picnic with Moana, Mickey, and Merlin. Speak with Remy again to discuss what you saw in the memory.
Talk to the villagers from the memory
After speaking with Remy about the memory, speak to the following villagers.
Merlin
Mickey Mouse
Moana
Open the map to learn the characters’ whereabouts and then go to them one by one and speak to them. Speaking to Merlin will give you Dreamlight Peppers.
Cook the mysterious Cajun recipe
Once you have spoken with the required villagers, head to any Cooking Station to cook a mysterious Cajun recipe. Navigate to the Quests section in the recipes to find the Enchanted Shrimp Étouffée recipe. Making this recipe will require the following ingredients.
1x Shrimp – Caught by fishing in Blue Ripples in the Dazzle Beach biome.
1x Onion – Bought from Goofy’s Stall for 225 Star Coins in the Forest of Valor biome.
1x Rice – Bought from Goofy’s Stall for 92 Star Coins in the Glade of Trust biome.
1x Milk – Bought from Chez Remy for 230 Star Coins.
1x Dreamlight Peppers – It is a quest item given by Merlin.
Once you have all the ingredients, select the recipe from the list and Auto-Fill all the ingredients. Select the ‘Start Cooking’ option to cook the mysterious Cajun recipe.
Share the Enchanted Shrimp Étouffée with the villagers
After cooking the Enchanted Shrimp Étouffée recipe, speak to the following villagers to share it with them.
Moana
Mickey Mouse
Merlin
Remy
Welcome Tiana
As you share the recipe with all the required villagers, a brief cutscene of Tiana coming to the Valley will be played. Welcome Tiana by taking a picture with her, and then speak to her to share some Enchanted Shrimp Étouffée with her.
Place Tiana’s House in the Valley
While speaking to Tiana, she will give you the foundation of her house. Place the foundation anywhere in the valley. Once done, interact with the Scrooge’s sign and pay 5,000 Star Coins to build Tiana’s House.
After building Tiana’s House, bring the Mysterious Cajun Recipe Book that you found earlier to Tiana for safekeeping. Speak with her and go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.
