The story content of DREDGE: The Iron Rig revolves around finding the new strange specimens in all the regions whose waters get contaminated with oil as the story progresses. Upon bringing the strange specimens of Stellar Basin (the third contaminated area) to the Scientist, the contamination will spread to Twisted Strand requiring you to bring more strange specimens.
This guide will help you get all strange specimens of Twisted Strand in DREDGE: The Iron Rig.
How to Catch All Strange Specimens of Twisted Strand in DREDGE: The Iron Rig
The Strange Specimens of Twisted Strand are of Mangrove and Shallow kinds only one of which can be caught using the Infused Rod, but for the Mangrove kind, you have to craft a new rod called Infused Coiling Rod. Crafting the Infused Coiling Rod will require the following materials and a $250 cost.
1x Anti-Tangle Line
NOTE: The Ironhaven Crate is found at the missing ship locations marked on the map. The Dark Canister is caught by sailing over the contaminated areas while Siphon Trawler is equipped. Lastly, the Anti-Tangle Line can be purchased from the Undermarket facility at the Iron Rig.
After crafting the Infused Coiling Rod, equip it along with Infused Rod and set sail to the Twisted Strand to find and catch the strange specimens.
