Supermarket Together is a simulator video game imitating the daily life role of someone running a supermarket store. The goal of the game is to run, expand, and sell various products at your store to make a profit. However, as you begin the adventure as a store owner, you will witness the Market Price and Store Price to be the same, meaning no profit on the sale.
This guide will help you with how to earn profit on each product in Supermarket Together.
How to Earn Profit on Each product in Supermarket Together
Upon stocking your supermarket with basic products such as Cereals, Water Bottles, Salt, etc. you must change the pricing of them before opening the store for the public. Otherwise, any sale you make for any product will make no profit. To change the pricing of a product, you need to use a Pricing Device.
The Pricing Device is found in the manager’s room on the table. Pick it up and go to the product shelf where you display the products for the people to purchase. While aiming at the product shelf, the pricing of the product will appear on the device’s screen. The device will show both the Market Price (the price at which you bought the product) and your price.
Initially, both of them will be the same and you need to increase your price on the product to earn profit on each sale of that product. Use the mouse wheel to increase or decrease the price by $0.1, and if you hold E while moving the mouse wheel, it will increase or decrease the price by $0.2. Once done, press the LMB to accept the price, and then you can drop the device by pressing the F button.
However, increasing your price twice as much as the market price will make customers not buy the product. It is best to increase the prices of a product up to 5-10% as it doesn’t affect the sale and lets you earn a decent profit on each sale.
Moreover, every Thursday market inflation increases on some products so if you have such items already stored, increase their prices accordingly to earn a huge profit on each sale.
