Larian Released the Yearly Players’ Stats for Baldur’s Gate 3 – Best Class/Race, Favorite Character, and More

It’s been a year since the launch of the past year’s Game of the Year, Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios. The journey through the world of Faerûn in Baldur’s Gate 3 is completely dependent on a player as every dialogue choice, roll, success, failure, and interaction build up one’s story differently than the others.

In celebration of the first anniversary of Baldur’s Gate 3, Larian Studios released comprehensive players’ stats since its launch revealing the number of brave souls who completed the Honour Mode and who didn’t, top three favorite characters, most smooched companions, number of players who had sex with Halsin and the Emperor, most petted pets, top three character classes per race, and endings stats.

In the stats, Larian revealed that 1.9 million players were turned into a cheese wheel. Only 141,660 players conquered the Honour Mode while 1.2 million players failed from which 76% of them honourably deleted their save game and 24% continued their adventure in Custom Mode.

Astarion secured the top spot as the favorite origin character avatar with 1.21 million runs followed by Gale with 1.20 million runs, and Shadowheart in third place with 0.86 million runs. However, over 93% of players chose to play as a custom avatar, with 15% of them picking Dark Urge.

In the next page of stats, Larion revealed the spicy stats of over 75 million companion kisses with Shadowheart securing the first place with 27 million kisses. Astarion stands in second place with 15 million kisses, and Minithara comes last with 169,937 kisses. For the sex stats with Halsin and the Emperor, 658,000 players had sex with Halsin with 70% of them getting dirty in his human form and 30% choosing bear. Ironically, more players got down with the Emperor, revealing 1.1 million players from which 63% of them chose Dream Guardian form and 37% of them chose Mind Flayer Tentacles.

For the beloved pets, Larian revealed that Scratch took first place with 120 million pets, followed by Owlbear Cub with 41 million pets.

The top three character classes per race as per the stats are Dwarf (race) – Paladin, Barbarian, and Fighter. Moreover, the least favorite character classes per race are Half-Elf (race) – Sorcerer, Paladin, and Cleric.

Lastly, the ending stats of Baldur’s Gate 3 stand at 1.8 million players betraying the Emperor, 3.3 million players killing Netherbrain from which 200,000 of them approved Gale’s help, 329,000 players convinced Orpheus to live as a mind flayer, and only 34 players chose to kill themselves after Vlaakith rejected their ascension while playing as Lae’zel.
