“Something’s not right.” Gravitas has revealed the official trailer for a documentary film titled Concussed: The American Dream, an eye-opening look at the CTE problem in professional sports. Available to watch on VOD later this month. The danger of head trauma in sports has emerged with the discovery of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) in athletes after death. This doc explores the story of Super Bowl winner Tyler Sash who rose from a small town to the NFL until concussions shortened his career. NFL Hall of Famer Brett Favre’s story is paralleled as he deals with the aftereffects of playing professional football for 20 years professionally. As the narrative unfolds, their lives intersect to reveal the hidden dangers lurking within the sport they love.
