Getting your inventory filled up quickly will leave you with the inability to gather various resources in your daily exploration across Mistria. There are various locations across Mistria that you will get to visit and come across exclusive resources of the areas.
Gathering these resources will allow you to unlock more crafting recipes but if your inventory is filled up, you might have to store the items in the chest before starting your daily exploration or you can upgrade the Backpack to increase its inventory space.
This guide will help you increase your inventory space in Fields of Mistria.
How to Increase Inventory Space in Fields of Mistria
You will start with a basic bag that allows you to store up to 10 items including tools, resources, food items, crops, and seeds. Fortunately, on your first day of exploration, you can get a Bag Upgrade from the General Store for a cost of 1,000 Tessarae (the game’s currency). However, you won’t be able to buy it on the first day as Tessarae is pretty hard to come by until you have grown your first batch of crops.
Once you have made enough money, make your way to the General Store and go to the counter to browse the wares. The General Store offers various crop seeds, furniture items, and tools. Navigate to the Tools tab to find the Bag Upgrade. Purchasing it will increase the inventory slots by 10 and add an additional hotbar that can be switched by pressing the Tab key.
Moreover, if you wish to get another Bag Upgrade, you will first have to complete the quest to upgrade the General Store.
There are currently 2 upgrades for your bag which will increase the inventory of your space to 30 and each upgrade will cost a certain amount of money.
Bag Upgrade 1: Increase Storage to 20, costs 1,000 Tessarae.
Bag Upgrade 2: Increase Storage to 30, costs 2,000 Tessarae.
The second bag upgrade will add another hotbar of 10 inventory slots making your inventory with a total of 30 slots. Having a larger inventory space will make your daily runs easier as you will be able to store more resources and items without being worried about emptying your bag at the chest back at the house.
