In the recent blog post of Disney Dreamlight Valley, the creators lay out the future plans for the game based on the constant feedback from loyal players, revealing the 2nd Content Roadmap for the year 2024 and the announcement of a cross-platform multiplayer option for PlayStation Consoles.
In the section ‘Giving You More Ways to Play Together’ of the article, the Devs mentioned that some players love to play together with their friends by visiting their villages. To make this experience more friendly and enjoyable, a cross-platform multiplayer option will be added to the PlayStation Consoles in the next update (August 2024) allowing players on PlayStation Consoles to visit other players regardless of their platform.
With this feature, more players will be able to play together and complete goals, participate in DreamSnaps Challenges together, and help out others in their adventure.
While there is majority of players play the game Solo, the Devs assured them to feel as welcomed and rewarded as any other in the community.
Moreover, the Devs also stated that in 2025, more ways to play together will be added for the players.
