There are 5 anomalies that you can come across in Close Your Eyes!

Teddy Bear

The teddy bear anomaly is one of the easier ones to listen out for. It can’t jumpscare you per se, as long you figure out the direction it’s in before closing your eyes or moving away. While this anomaly wanders around, it makes a high-pitched squeaking sound. The most difficult part is working out where it’s coming from. This sound is pretty loud, and if you have headphones on, you should be able to decipher where the teddy bear is.

But, if you end up walking into it, or he finds you when you turn your back, he’ll jump at you. A screaming sound effect from Five Nights at Freddy’s plays, and blood drips down the teddy bear – game over! One thing to note is that this anomaly isn’t speedy in the slightest, so it’s easy to evade.

Blinker

Okay, this one scares me the most, I will admit. Mainly due to its high running speed. You only have a short time to get away or close your eyes before it gets right up in your face.

While it’s mostly a black silhouette, making it hard to see in the dark, it has a large blinking eye on its head. This is pretty noticeable even from afar, so you can sometimes predict when it’ll come after you. Once it spots you though, it runs at you incredibly fast, so it’s tricky to avoid at times. If the blinking monster catches you, its eye turns red, and multiple white blinking eyes surround it.

Hunter

I like to call this one the Crawler, as it prefers to be on all fours on the ground whilst hiding. It’s absolutely terrifying and gets me every time. There are no audible cues when it’s around, so you may end up opening a door only to find it right there in front of you. If this happens, you need to close your eyes as quickly as possible. While the blinking monster’s speed scares me, it’s the Crawler’s stealth that freaks me out the most.

Scream

Like the Teddy Bear, this anomaly isn’t too difficult to counter. That’s if you don’t turn around and close your eyes in time. If you suddenly hear a loud scream, and your screen is covered in text prompting you to look behind, the screamer is somewhere nearby. It’s more than likely directly behind you, and if you turn around, it starts to run with its sharp teeth.

Granpa

This one’s an interesting anomaly! If you blink too many times in a row, the old man appears before you. This is more than likely a way to stop you from constantly blinking to avoid every anomaly you come across. So, you can’t take the easy route by keeping your eyes closed consistently.
